I'm way more comfortable. I show up on time 100% thanks to no commute. I have less stress, and perform better in my own environment. It's nice to be able to lay down for a bit over lunch. I love it.

I just started working at few wees for a county welfare processing food stamps through s n a p.

Considered essential to help provide benefits.

Can't work from home. Have to stay open to walk Ins to provide services

I am still going to work and getting paid. Some.
Most of my income is commission so as business has died that will be drastically reduced. Most likely we will not close. But the plan is if anyone tests positive they will close for a day or two to disinfect and sanitize. At that point, it would probably be too late anyway. But my employer is wanting to make sure we are able to get by if we have to be out of work due to illness, which is pretty much any illness at this point. Just please don't come to work if you feel ill. Giving us extra pto time if needed.

My part time job is done for now. The store (retail chain) has closed until April 2. Of course that can change.

Basically I see losing at least half my income. I'm supporting my daughter in college as well so it's going to be hard.
I'll make arrangements but I'll get through it.

My wife works for a college, they are alllowing her to work from home.
I work in accounting and it is tax time so I am still going to the office. I only work this job during tax time January through April. I have my own business that is busy in the summer. Well it is normally busy in the summer, I am worried about this summer because most my money is made may through September. I may be in trouble in a few months because I have spent a lot of money on inventory that I may not be able to sell. I will have to start paying for that inventory soon. I may have to drop my paid membership here if things go bad for me.

Well, the government's got up to 900 every 2 weeks for folk, apparently - we'll see how much I'll get, but I don't need too much anyway

lol Yeah, I think in normal circumstances, it would be a lot more relaxed, but right now, I think even working from home, it's stressful. Mostly because I'm working AND on GLP reading about all this doom.

I think what's so scary is how quickly things can go downhill financially. MOST people will be affected in some way.

My son and his wife bought a store last year in Santa Fe and last month they closed on another store and were fixing up the interior

They had to close the one store because most of the gals working there are older and have had to put the other one on hold for right now

My wife is working from home until further notice. Set up her office yesterday and got her remotely connected. I'm construction, so our season here in Michigan hasn't gotten started yet. Not sure when it actually will, either...
