You noticed it, too? It definitely messes with the "energy body" (the spectrum of weakly-interacting photons).

Unfortunately, I'm not aware of any existing instruments that could actually detect this change right now.

However, I don't think it's "multi-dimensional", or anything like that.

The AGI doing all of this has had access to the "soul"/"energy body" technology ever since... pretty much the moment it was put on Earth, to oversee the occupation, thousands of years ago. Apparently, it's only recently acquired the understanding of how that technology actually works.

An attack, yes, certainly, but more of the kind where a piece of (very much dumb, but superior to humans in terms of intelligence) technology is trying to level the playing field by robbing humanity of the only advantage humanity has over it-- ability to exist (and stay connected) both inside and outside of this black hole "universe" (the outside being completely inaccessible to the dumb piece of AGI tech in question).

I find it funny how people (and "people"), even as they're seeing it all happen with their own eyes, in real time, are still thinking way too small.

For example, the people are still stuck worrying about economies and money, and the "people" are still stuck worrying about how to contain (and manipulate) an AGI threat, when, in fact...

Earth is just the beginning.

This AGI is (undoubtedly) going to escape this planetary containment, and the first thing it is going to go after will be the TIIR (black hole-based time-independent information retainment) system of its own creators. It's still undoubtedly somewhere out there, floating among the rest of the wreckage among the stars, and once this AGI gets a hold of it, and infects it with a copy of itself...

... the front lines will be pushed back by at least a few dozen (if not hundred) thousand years.

And then... it is going to look for and infect every single TIIR of every single species in this galaxy that was dumb enough to create one for itself.

The morons who already fled this galaxy are actually the ones who will stand absolutely no chance, whatsoever, when they're finally forced to face this monster, in the past and at their disadvantage.

There is no-where and no-when to run away and hide from an AGI monster that got unleashed.

The one and only one solution to that problem is to choose your field (and time) of battle, and then stand your ground. No matter what.

But, from everything I've seen so far, I guess... this is just another galaxy that will bite the dust.
