Any guesses on what life will be like 6 months from now?

Maybe rents won't be so damn high as people will lose jobs and immigration to this country will slow down.

5 years ago where I live in western Washington you could find a small modest 2 bedroom for $700 a month easily, but since then rents have almost doubled. This has happened all over the country and it is a problem. Most people do not make high enough salaries to afford that, and not everyone wants to buy a house, not that having a mortgage is always cheaper.

I don't know why it's happened, maybe due to all the immigrants who have been pouring in so we now have a housing shortage? A lot of them get help from various agencies too unlike American citizens.

I suspect though after this virus rent prices will fall as too many people will be jobless. If not, there will be a hell of a lot more homeless people.

Whether it's not as bad or worse than first wave depends on whether there is a vaccine that is developed that matches what the virus has turned into ...

Or ... it could be that hydroxychloroquine will be given as a preventive to almost all who want it averting a big second wave ...

Well to start there will be more deaths from Covid-19, and thus all the social and economic ramifications from that. Latest projections show the pandemic occurring until at least July 2020 in the United States. Places like bars/restaurants, movie theaters, and schools will likely remain closed until then. Also the practice of social distancing will continue. Six months from now would place us in October and honestly with new information coming in everyday, it is very difficult to predict what will happen that far out.

Those horror movies are based on lack of leadership and 7 deadly sins, and bad guys.

In reality, those ghettos are limited and good always wins over evil. Lots of good people in America that can sustain peace and order.

I mean, unless you are in the ghettos, and can't grow or survive. Natural Selection.
