Not for a lack of product but for a lack of willing workers. Sad they would rather be poor and take food bank food they seemingly now cannot even get. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 3941884 United States 04/25/2020 11:40 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | What a joke, food banks are being heavily advertised in these areas and the food banks literally have too much food that the farmers are destroying their crops because the food banks are al full. This isn’t old nasty food, this is top quality produce, and meats that they are giving away... people go there for the freebie that’s been advertised and if it was in your neighborhood that you can wait for 20 minutes in your car to get $50-$70 worth of free groceries that you’d likely do it, especially if you were told you couldn’t work during this time. It’s a false equivalency to say they are going hungry though |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 78648938 They got "food banks" in Australia. They used to be good but now they hand out crappy crap like creamed corn and stale bread products. Salvation Army and other charity groups handle it. I've not been near it in years but I think it's pretty much the same thing. |
