Once they 'flatten the curve' do the previously vulnerable suddenly LESS vulnerable? Of course! The virus is GONE FOR EVER!! Will a 'slow and careful reopening of the economy' prevent people from getting it? Please explain, Governor. Perhaps the same way curfews prevent the spread of viruses. Maybe their position is they 'don't want to overload the health care system'. Ok, so we hold down the exonomy until every vulnerable person who will die from it, has had a fighting chance in a hospital? At this rate that will take a decade. NONE of these bullshit explanations make sense. We NEVER had a chance at changing this things trajectory. What DID happen was the science was wrong and they predicted 50-80x WORSE death and hospitalizations. That never happened. The virus will continue to kill like any other respiratory disease does to the weak forever. Its not a big deal, its life. If covid didn't get you, the flu would have. Reopen 100% of everything immediately and restore freedom. Also dont forget to give me more red for not towing the line and not being a mindless MSM, Fauci and Birx believing lemming. We all know how much some registered users love to punish truth with red. |

Actually, OP overestimated just a bit. As of 1 minute ago: Washington - 765 Oregon - 92 Idaho - 58 Utah - 41 Montana - 14 Wyoming - 7 TOTAL - 977 [link to ncov2019.live (secure)] So 6 states have fewer total deaths than the deaths recorded in New York every 2 days!! OP is absolutely right. |
