I hear a lot of people saying T3 are a great help, I have hypothyroid suffered now for 3 years, totally miserable and feel unwell unfortunately in Scotland they don’t test for T3 nor will you get them, I’m so sad and feel I’m slowly dying and probably am so glad some are feeling better it gives abit of hope, we don’t get T 3 because it’s too expensive. My weight has increased by 3 stone, and now have fybromyalga, vit D deficiency, anemia, planter fascitis and higher blood pressure, before I was sporty active happy loved life, now isolated in pain can barely walk always tired can’t stand noise and bright lights can’t go out in sunshine, what an existance,

I know, I have no T3 and I have these problems too as well as a bum foot that's been reconstructed to the best of the Dr.s ability (couldn't have ankle replacement due to the damage to rest of foot, long story about 35 years ago).

Lucky I still have the foot I guess and can hobble around (therapists said amputation might be better, uhh no, not going there) but then add in the CRPS (nerve damage, chronic high level pain/spasms) on top of the thyroid issues and fused neck, and yeah...

I used to be super active too, working, swimming, riding (had to rehome my beloved horses), working around my little farmette...now I'm reduced to small raised garden (my husband does the in-ground stuff) my dogs, and in-house stuff on one level, me and stairs don't get along well.

Biggest concern really is what happens if the meds run out.
And you're right the lack of T3 just makes it all worse!

Hang tough friend, that's all we can do.
