AccuWeather increases number of hurricanes predicted for 'very active' 2020 Atlantic season

There was no winter in the southern half of FLA (again) this year.

I think the gulf and Tampa Bay temps did go down to their norm,but there's a whole lotta energy down here.

the MJO is favorable this season for an active Atlantic season.

Just checked gulf temps and they're running 2 degrees higher than other years like 2010.

The gulf is running average of 78F and normally run 76F for this time of year.

This will be an interesting weather year for sure. It's already broiling hot here in the southwest. 109 tomorrow for Phoenix, when it should be around 89 degrees. Yet to the northeast, a big blast of frigid air is barrelling down.

Tampa bay area going down to 56 tonight. That's got to be near a record cold temp.

They will has less hurricanes from the Atlantic but the ones they get will be larger.

Some wont make it to the USA they will head towards Europe.

The US needs to watch gulf of Mexico storms form and hit Alabama / the deep south.

Don't worry. Hurricanes are likely to come in increased numbers and strength due to ever increasing 5G which led to Dorian's 185 mph swirl, and that Cat 5 in the eastern Atlantic.

But like Dorian, which could have caused a trillion dollars in damage had it either crossed Florida or run up the coast, they will not do much if anything on land.
