I limited chain visits to an occasional Chipotle or Panera. I still went to all my favorite mom and pop places mostly. A greek place. A couple italian places. A couple hipster coffee shops.

I did go there once a week before that and not because of the food but because of the people. From the service to the customers, everyone was friendly. It was like a 1980's timewarp. Everything good ALWAYS goes to shit though and so did they. Just happy I got to experience it for a bit.
