Notice in the press conference how they don't give too many details and they move along quickly? They took that "quote" out of context and even then it didn't say to send people WITH COVID to nursing homes.

The dude in Michigan who beat up the old people was actively COVID positive and sent there.

They knew early on that the death rate was much lower than they were making it look. They were literally telling people that were sick NOT to get tested unless they had a high fever or difficulty breathing

Our nursing homes in Texas (in this county!) did not allow covid positive people on the grounds at all in Texas, and they cut down on visitation to bare extremes.

If a patient was suspected of having it they moved them to hospital where covid patients were being treated.

We had 2 die out of 32,000 in my county and not far away in Louisiana where such measures were NOT taken, they had hundreds in small county.

What Cuomo is saying isn't that he sent people to nursing homes after testing positive, he said the tests weren't there so he they were not known to be infected, and old people in declining health are generally placed in care homes. What do you do with elderly people who are in declining health if they are not able to be helped by a hospital?

We've been doing it for years, nursing homes are where old people go to die, it's just a fact of modern life. But I WISH people would go back to the way things were, and honor the elders. That's why our society is falling apart, we do not pass wisdom from generation to generation any more. Often in my experience the eldest in a crowd is often the most informed and wise.

I knew Cuomo's father PERSONALLY and he is an asshole and a catholic wop of the highest order, a thieving criminal gangster who used the NYS police as a goon squad.
