Someone used some random generation to generate something in the style of the Red Hot Chili Peppers. It's not AI driven or anything; thr guy still pretty much did the music and vocals, himself. :) That’s awesome! Thanks Akashic! Now, why that band name is so familiar to me... I wonder... All great truths begin as Blasphemies. G.B.S. GLP is like a diamond mine of information, in the sense that you have to shovel mountains of crap to find the diamonds, but it's still worth the pain. |

The vocals are rather unintelligible, but it's definitely interesting. Sorry, that message is no longer in the database. |

I think for the bot to put something fun out the band needs to have extensive vocabulary in their lyrics, and bush was fucking weird. I think that's a good point about the amount (and variation) of source material. Markov chain functions are kind of low-rent in the world of AI. It also brings up some interesting copyright issues; is AI generated material considered "fair use" when the source material is clearly copyrighted. Imagine if you had an elevator and wanted some well-known (sounding) background music, but don't want to pay licensing or royalties? Sorry, that message is no longer in the database. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 79103398 United States 07/03/2020 12:16 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | This is some musician feeding all the l yrics of a certain band into random word generator. It then uses all the words and puts them together in one l yric. The guy then writes a tune that rips off the band and then tries to sing like the band's singer and uses the l yrics. It is not AI. There have been random band name generators online for a decade. The words are nonsense. There is no "AI". It is a basic word jumbler program. I give the guy credit in a way. He has found a way to get a laugh and get hits on his youtube. That said, it really kind of shows how terrible music is now. No one gives a crap about songs or musisc anymore. This is all that is left....computer generated drivel, tv talent shows and shitty rap. |
