Anyone really in rap knows that Jay z got to where he is because of his business savvy and acumen at making deals. His rap skills are mediocre at best. It was well-known that even underground there were people who routinely ate him alive on the mic. There was a good mix of some freestyle he had with an underground rapper, and Jay-z was completely destroyed over 13 minutes of back and forth.

So to put him as "one of the top 3" just shows how ignorant and uninformed your opinion is.
