We need to keep businesses open and schools closed. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 23145909 Kids need structure for one. School is their job, it sets the basic guidelines of working a normal job later in life. Telling them to log onto a computer a couple hours a week is extremely detrimental to their growth. As well their socialization skills are built in schools. Nyblazer |

We need to keep businesses open and schools closed. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 23145909 OMG.......you are an ignorant doofus. I see you follow the CNN rule of tell lies and repeat them until someone believes it. The truth is, teachers want to return to the classrooms. Online teaching has shown to be seriously flawed. Children rarely go outside, Rarely interact socially with other children, and they sit on their asses playing video games or watching TV all day. The true COVID stats show that children aged 15 and lower have only a .02% chance to pass the virus on to anyone over age 15. Eight countries have decided to send the kids back to school without masks, but teachers and administrators can wear them if needed or wanted. In the US, 61% of teachers are aged 41 or lower. This means their chances of contracting the virus at 11% without a mask. 84% of teachers are 55 and under, so their chances increase slightly to 14% without a mask. The other 8 countries use the 3-foot rule with children. So their desks do not need to be moved From a normal class seating arrangement. But the CDC wants a 6-foot rule which means you can’t fit a normal class size in each room. The CDC, Dr. Birx, and Dr. Fauci have made so many false statements, distributed documentation proven to be lies, and continue to flip-flop on how to handle going back to work and school. They are the problem. With this “NEW” increase in Florida and Texas, a doctor with a background in virology, and has worked with FEMA and the CDC, went to those hospitals reporting huge increases. He found one hospital reported 251 COVID patients, but only had 19 and all had preexisting conditions. They were reporting anyone admitted for auto accidents, heart attacks, gun shots, work accidents, etc., as COVID. A second hospital claimed 427 COVID patients. The doctor found 14 and all had preexisting conditions. A third hospital claimed 211, but again, only 11 with preexisting conditions were found. Hospitals make 3X the fees from COVID-19 patients than other emergency conditions. The other reason this doctor found was that it is political. If democrats can keep this virus going as a political issue, then they can get their city or state to force a mail- in ballot election come November. |

I don't know exactly why that's the case but where else would you immediately point to other than the education system? A bunch of teachers standing behind the wall of a union where fist t-shirts demanding more compensation and we have more people who can't read on a functional level than who can. So whoever made the comment earlier in this thread about teachers being smarter than people accusing them of being lazy, I don't think I could disagree with you more. |
