So, I worked my ass off for a few years, 70+ hour weeks, trying to save for the only thing I ever wanted.. a little tiny piece of wooded land. I saved 11,000$ cash, was storing it in a safety deposit box at the bank.. it was stolen. I tried again.. saved almost 10,000$ again, and then covid hit.. I didn't qualify for assistance and my work shut down.. my savings dwindled away.. lost my great job, my home, sold my belongings.. blew 3 tires in a month and various car related issues.. I'm thinking I might just grab my backpack and walk into the woods and if I die I die. Thinking of getting shit faced and just walking north, see what happens. I'd say my chances would be ok, but winter is fast approaching, so who knows. Anyways, it's an option..  |

I live an extremely simple life and I live out of a tent for weeks when I have vacation from work. It FORCES you to do things in nature as you cannot stay in a tent all day every day. |
