When I went to my parents a few weeks ago, both highways that I usually use to get to their place were blocked off by natives. It was very annoying.

I agree with you, I am Native. I' ve had rocks thrown at me by white teenagers when I was a kid because I was native. The gov took people from my family and placed them in bad places were they were sexually and physically abused. Where they had broken bones and weren't allowed to see doctors for days. A chief on a radio program express genuine disbelief that the people of Prince George stupidly abandoned their houses as ordered by officialdom. On the other hand the same people told the RCMP no when ordered to evacuate their own community. The RCMP fucking went round to the back to take the kids, got caught and ordered to leave. By the natives, you understand. The RCMP left and the natives handled themselves. Natives in wilder parts of BC are capable.
