Ye sounds bad now Iv read it lol. I had a blighted ovum and was told to have a medical misscaraige. Whilst my immune was low my tooth started raging with infection. I was taking paracetamol every 3 hours to rid pain so I could look after son. It was literally 6 days after medical misscaraige. Lockdown was in place and no dentist would take tooth out. It was horrific pain. So I just took pain relief every time the pain was unbearable. I started to feel sick and called hospital begging for tooth extraction. It was refused and told them I can’t keep medicating to dull pain as I need to look after son. They told me to get in hospital ASAP as sickness sounded like an overdose. Still not had tooth out after all this time coz apparently dentist England chief is refusing dentists do the practice.

Bumping and following cos I have a uk hospital A&E experiences from yesterday that I desperately need to share and I fully agree op.

Also I noticed T-man commenting: T-man the other day I said I was too scared to respond to the vaccine thing by the government......I’ve since changed my mind and have done it last night after my rather disheartening, frightening and exceptionally eerie experience yesterday!

I followed this in April. I called nhs line and they said no to tooth extraction. Same as going into hospital. They saw how bad it was but said sorry chief of dentistry England will not allow it. Over the months since then has been the same. They will not do it

Oh, thats cool!! But like i said, i understand you have way more to be afraid off. I only have my self to take care off pretty much, which is far from having the responsibility over a family. But it's always good to be less afraid of things that shouldnt be scary to begin with.

Iv needed a tooth extraction. First toothache at 41. Pretty bad pain. If it was say permanent Id probably hang myself lol. It goes away though. At the time I was swishing with peroxide. Its either good or really bad, if it stays in tooth. Wisdom tooth broke. Not sure when. Maybe hot chocolate in cold air or under general anesthesia. No where does extractions it seems.

So I have made a review on Chester and Cheshire west hospital. My review they haven’t published but have published other negative feedback. I’m now considering I’m getting this story out to the public. Just Gona try think which steps to take next now. Local mp I think first then take the complaints procedure on nhs then maybe the newspapers. I’m not Gona quiet after this, I’m so angry

Op I’m sorry you’ve had a rough time recently and even more sorry to hear your story. I too had my first hospital A&E experience yesterday due to my child.

My story is exceptionally similar,...... eerily so!

Here goes. My son is 14 and in high school. We have a genetic condition called ehlers danlos syndrome, which affects us pretty badly. The beloved NhS that I’m supposed to stand outside and clap for, yea right, have refused to acknowledge this condition for my entire life (38 years) and are also ignoring it in my kids. I’ve had to pay privately for the last fifteen years for all three of us if we want any help. 5 years ago I had a major car accident which dislocated the vertebrae in my neck, and Wales nhs refused to help me....they let me develop severe neurological brainstem symptoms and last November when I lost respiratory drive they would have let me die......I was lucky enough to find a surgeon in the uk who could fuse my skull and neck for a hefty 30k plus......., in general me and my kids are quite prone to severe dislocations.

My past experience of situations when my kids get injured in this way at school has been one of : I turn up at school, they have insisted on calling an ambulance (cos obviously if they don’t they are liable right?), five times I’ve been in that situation with my kids in the last three years and been made to wait at the school watching my kid writhe round in agony whilst we do that marathon five hour wait for an ambulance (cos they are all out on calls blah blah).

Yesterday however my sons kneecap dislocated at high school, it was a mad dislocation and the bottom half of his leg was twisted out sideways, he called me screaming from his mobile before the school managed to call me (that im fine with since all kids have access to this tech nowadays I suppose) so I get my stuff together and drive to the school which is twenty five minutes away. I then arrive at the school and he is splayed out on the playing field in 29 degree heat, school we’re doing the best they could to shade him and provide water. I look at the head master and ask when the ambulance is expected to arrive? Oh we didn’t call one.......you know given the situation (meaning the Covid) , we thought you could get him in the car and take him ??? We live in rural north wales and his high school is about forty mins down windy roads from the hospital.....l despite the fact I already think Covid is a bit of an overinflated hoax I play the game and I be as understanding as I can be, whilst simultaneously being very aware that I’m not sure I can lift him into my car and how will he be in the back of a small car with his leg splayed out sideways?? And how on earth will I manage a forty min drive with him screaming and begging me to stop??? With zero pain relief that if an ambulance had come they could have given him something.

Also to add context where we are in the country, we have supposedly only just reached our peak here and so everyone is supposed to be super vigilant blah blah blah

We arrive at the hospital. There is a queue to get in A & E, about four people in front of us. The first gentleman was being assisted by paramedics.....clearly brought there in an ambulance, with a closed head injury, he could barely walk and was all over the place. The paradmedics are knocking desperately for a wheelchair for him to sit in...... personally I don’t know why he wasn’t on a stretcher and taken in that way? Anyhow the triage lady who is preventing everyone from going in starts yelling at the paramedics and then begrudgingly goes to get a wheelchair, man passes out before she arrives back, they then place him in wheelchair and take him passed out! Now the door is open I’m asking for a wheelchair too, get glared at by the triage nurse, makes me wait and brings another wheelchair out, I asked if anyone could help me get him out of the car and was looked at like I had spat on her or something......clearly no ones gonna help me, so I drag him myself out of the car and get him into the metal wheelchair, but he’s struggling cos he can’t bend the leg and needs to put it straight, I then find the bit on the chair that would allow him to rest his calf on it, but he can’t cos he needs support under the actual knee itself.

We wait patiently in the queue. She then checks my temperature and my sons temperature, goes through the symptoms of Covid to check we haven’t had any in recent days, my sons temp was somewhat border line and she’s umming and ahhing about whether to let him in, so I just look at her and explain he’s been lying in 29 degree heat full sunshine for I don’t know how long, has clearly got a traumatic dislocation that can be clearly seen which let’s face it is gonna raise things like heart rate, blood pressure and temperature.....I have to argue with her that it’s the right thing to do to let him in.......I mean seriously fucking argue with her for it??. Wtf? She relents and by this point my partner has turned up and I’m thinking thank god, someone else can push the wheelchair since I’m still in recovery from neck fusion. She then sys only one of us can go in, and my son is begging for it to be me. I rather naively assumed there would be porters and other staff to assist me. So I agree I’m the one who is taking him in. She then says she wants me to take him in the wheelchair around the outside of the hospital to the front and wheel him down the very long corridor to fracture clinic where a doc can see him......I just looked at her and said NO! You can take me through the emergency dept cos that leads straight to the orthopaedics and fracture clinic. We’ve both got masks on etc and there is no way I’m pushing him an extra ten mins when I know there is a much quicker route. She relents and takes me through emergency. There is literally one patient in there. I was expecting the place to be over run and staff running round everywhere, they weren’t, they were all sat there chatting and laughing and not really looking like they are doing much “hospital work”. Fair enough whatever. I’m then wondering where all the porters are? Haven’t seen one yet. We went past the x Ray dept. It was deserted. So deserted that a lot of the lights in certain areas were off. Very very eerie. We go past two wards, which I can see there is hardly anyone there. We get to fracture clinic. Still sitting outside with his knee all over the shop and so swollen it’s now got a bigger circumference than my head.

I’m fully expecting shitty treatment by this point......I would be expecting it anyway cos they don’t understand the ehlers danlos at all. They decide he needs an X-ray, clearly he’s gonna need an X-ray, I knew the moment I picked him up he would need a fucking X-ray......yea the X-ray dept I just walked past.......so they cut his trouser leg off cos it’s so swollen now the trousers were beginning to rip and you couldn’t pull it up or even down.

Normally by this point you get some kind of pain relief so it’s easier for X-ray to do their job. But no, no one was for offering any kind of pain relief???? So I then wheel him all the way back to X-ray. Made to wait. I’m not sure what for considering there was no fucker there.

Radiographer comes out and asks me to wheel him in and get him on the bed.......erm......why the fuck are they not getting him on the bed. Last year when this happened I wasn’t even allowed in the x Ray room, the porter wheeled him in and helped onto the bed. I look at this radiographer and politely explain that I’ve head skull and neck fusion and there’s no way I could lift him out of the chair and onto the bed. She then decides she will X-ray him in the chair. That’s fine. So she places the board thing they use by the knee, goes behind the barrier and I’m just stood there about to watch her push the button, so then pipe up...”am I meant to be in here?” You know when you do the radiation bit? Helllo??????? So she laughs awkwardly and asks me to come behind the barrier with her? Never had this happen before but gives me the opportunity to then look behind me and realise there are five radiaographers sat there doing naff all, why couldn’t they help me lift him out the wheelchair? Lazy fucking health and safety gone mad conscious arseholes. Why aren’t they taking other ppls xrays? Oh cos there is no fucker There. We are laying our taxes for them sit and do fuck all. Interesting!

I then have to wheel him back to fracture clinic, by this point the bottom of his leg is cold, I’m struggling to find a pulse in the ankle and he has pins and needles running up his foot. He’s bright red in the face and yelling and getting irate, complaining that the chair was hurting and he needed to lie down, so I’m trying to help manoeuvre him into a better sitting positions and next thing e know the knee cracks and it’s gone back in itself, the doc comes running out of the cubicle and says what’s wrong? Why are you so upset? I just started to cry, ripped my mask off and said what’s wrong? Are you for fucking real? He’s got a traumatic dislocation and has been here three hours, had no pain relief and not even been put on a stretcher and I’ve just had to try readjust his sitting position cos he’s in so much pain and his knees gone back in so hey at least you don’t have to reset it cos we’ve done your job for you! He’s apologetic, starts saying he will get pain relief and hes seen the X-ray and realises my son will probably need surgery, just need to wait for swelling to go down and get off the crutches so we can have an outpatient apt in 8 weeks. They then send him to the “plastering” area to fit him with a brace. They can’t find one to fit. Fucks sake what the fuck is wrong with these idiots? I tell them to strap it as best they can just so I can get him home cos I’ve got braces for all different areas of the body at home and still had the one he used last year after his dislocation. They still never brought him any pain relief! Had to give him that at home instead. Five hours it took us in all. It was quicker last year when the place was absolutely rammed with ppl. I realised there’s barely any patients and barely any staff. The porters are on furlough!! Sorry what? So the nhs is using the furlough system too? Hmmmm.......? What utter horror!

I’m now utterly convinced the whole virus bullshit is a complete swizz. Why they are conning us I don’t know, force vaccines, chip and track? Have everyone followed like cattle? I don’t know, but I can’t stand the negative treatment we received before the Covid but since the Covid I realised there is no help.. I feel sorry for ppl who have strokes or heart attacks, or anything that would require really really fast acting doctors and nurses.......they would be long dead before they had all the checks to be allowed to enter the building.

Have you tried any dental colleges? I understand that student dentists will perform free procedures if you volunteer.

Afternoon little lost

Yesterday at the hospital I was afraid and realised first thing I needed to do once I got home and settled was to find your thread, forget my fear and fill out the form! They gonna fuck us over either way so I may as well stand with ppl and try to fight rather than take it lying down!

But whats even weirder is.. virus being BS or not... why the f didnt they help him as they normal would? why no pain relieve? its like they got extra lazy or something?

Id almost ask you to just have him sit on a chair all day and do nothing just to not risk needing a 'professional'.
