Surviving gentrification

I told social security exactly this..

This city, has built its 15th complex of 3 story, $1600 to $2000 a month luxury townhouses..

And another 3 story, ultra modern Lindsey apartment complex..

Every other person here is on a bike trail with a Schwinn or a trek or a Specialized..

Or a Veoride or Spin motor scooter..

Ultra Complete, athletic Gyms all over the place..

Organic grocery stores, and starbucks, and Panera bread, and juice bars and smoothie joints..

And casual dining is all over the place...

Boutique clothing is here.

Amazon, Uber, Lyft, DoorDash, Grub Hub, Instacart is here..

Walking dogs for a $800 a day part time gig is here..

And this is one of the least expensive places in all of America..

I can't be here on disability..period...

I took a full time job at whole foods, $18 an hour starting..
And I'm keeping original 30 hour a week job at $10.25 an hour and I put in an application to be a manager $15 an hour..


And I enrolled in AKC accredited dog training program, Until I can walk dogs and train dogs too.

I got myself a female 24 year old bachelors degree college student roommate and a new construction 3 story townhouse that's going to survive...

I asked her out on a date..



They said it's okay and they understand, do what you need to do...

We don't want you to be homeless.
