I have yet to see realistic deep fakes rendered in real-time in HD within 7 second delay for live broadcast. To do a production like that requires very specialized equipment and hardware. I am not saying it can't be done, I don't think the necessary software and specialized hardware are available for commercial use.

And if you look at the closeup video, Pence was moving his head the whole time which I'd expect would be even more reason for the thing to take off and land again.
