This will drive faster bandwidth into more rural areas of the country, increase standards of living as living in rural areas are more cost efficient. It will decrease overhead costs for businesses and allow them to decrease damage risks from "protesters".
On a side note, the mass abandonment of urban centers is about to happen. There will be a crash in the commercial real estate market... and all those things the protesters want will evaporate because there will be zero opportunity in their cities as every business and person has gone somewhere else.

There will need to be food services and everything else for them. The under 30 crowd will also still be living in the urban areas, partying and looking for their mates. The only ones moving to the rural areas will be couples and those financially able. I see possibilities on both sides of this sub-argument.
