You need to adapt to the new normal and develop skills that you can monetize while at home.

The old normal, going to the office kind of nirmal, isn't coming back and that's good.

Dumbass. I'm a paramedic, a carpenter, an electrical tradesmen, and a farm, I don't go to a fuckin' office. Go suck on Biden's dick a little more fer yer tree fiddy.

I love that shit! I get so much flack for being a serial skill acquirer, it's unreal. I like to learn. My granddad owned a farm, ran a bait shop, was a mechanic, a scrap metal hauler, auctioneer, a Merchant Marine, welder, and boxing coach.

He was my hero. He also did some commercial fishing, ran a tow truck service, and was a hunting guide for a year after the war.

It would be bragging if I said I was the best at any of my trades. I am not. That said, when it comes to pre-hospital medicine, I can hold my own with anyone. And if you caught a round, got smooshed in a car crash, or went into V-Fib. You'd want me there.

Oh and answer the question: Do you support Antifa and BLM?

Right now, I'm working ER and working for an electrical contractor playing tool gopher and bending conduit. I am also taking a course I need to apply to Respiratory Therapy skewl.

Ironically, in spite of having a BS in Biochem, an AAS in Paramedic Technology and Fire Science, an AAS in Electronics and Electrical Engineering, a certificate in carpentry and masonry, a certificate in industrial electrical, and a couple of graduate certificates, I have only had a combined A&P and I need human phys plus a couple of other classes.

One of my professors is some ultra-left bimbo with baby-brain as she's a 'new mommy' while extolling the virtues of abortion. I have to tolerate, I need the class by spring. Well, I went and stuck my foot in my mouth and told her fuckin' idiot husband who butted in on our Zoom conversation that some of us who live on Planet Earth don't have the luxury of working from home.

His response and this sums up educators: You should have made better life choices. I shit you not.

I swear to Christ if me and this pasty fuckin', bushy-bearded, hipster cuck had been face-to-face I'd have knocked his damned teeth out! I mean, seriously just a 3-2 and dropped his ass to the pavement. ]

I am so sick of this! Pray to the Lord to give us all strength.

I agree with the professor kind of. We all have a working brain(most of us) and can make use of it. Prayer is also important

Lads and lasses. My story is quite factual. That said, this thread has garnered a great deal of intel about how far left people think of the working class.

It's very telling and quite useful. You learn a lot about your opponent by gauging their reaction to such things.

from a lib, I don’t know how your reading OPs message , but he/she is saying despite having the options to either work at his/her office job, he/she would rather work in something that’s more thrilling than watching paint dry.

The conversation with the professors husband, was as issue because he made an assumption , an ass of himself really, assuming OPs comment about not having the luxury to work from home, Was begging for some kind of mercy, mercy from toiling away at

When in actuality , OP is simply saying, some who are as degreed as he/she is , ( who is qualified and could go into boring office work, but would rather not) , have jobs (because of the nature of the job) it requires a body to be onsite, physically there to Perform work that canT be done virtually , or at home on laptop on zoom, the kind of work OP Does is vital to society. You can take it for granted easily, but when you’re in a situation you’ll thank god that there are people who have genuine knowledgeability and not just a text book fluff head.

To me this professor and husband come of as arrogant full of themselves , and really could be republican or lib,

Hard to say which party affiliation based on that comment . Because as a lib I’ve heard many repubs really stick to that idea of ” pull yourself by your own bootstraps “ and they do so judgingly and freely dish it out very ignorant advice , not realizing how much of an idiot they look

this ones a snotty professor with an asshole husband to match.
They both are fools with that superiority complex ,assuming work behind a laptop is the only work valuing,

I agree the professor and her husband are arrogant and snobs. The odds of them being liberal and hating Trump are very high given most professors at university tend to be liberal. In fact a study was done and it was found liberal professors out number conservative professors 13 to 1.

Work from home does not need to mean work for someone or be employed. For many it means self employed. If you have knowledge, acumen, and unique command of something, people all over the world are your potential clients.

Work for someone, some company, always a slave.
Do what you love and are good at, in mind and output, from home and for self, find other interested parties who acknowledge your command and desire to pay for your content, instruction, program, or products.

Or do physical labor. For a boss. And be mad at you choices.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 79508127

Physical labor doesn't necessarily mean you work for someone else. My plumber has his own small business and of course does physical labor because toilets and other plumbing don't fix themselves.

Then all that's left is trading cryptocurrencies. Cryptos are real assets, not your phoney fiat funny money. Which means you really own them full stop. Trading them gives you profit. There are books written on the subject.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 79345862

ive tried trading cryptos on GDAX.. and investing in alt coins on binance...

its hard. you have to have the right mindset and not allow it to take over your life like a gambler. really really hard to keep control over it and think calmly and rationally.. and really really hard to exit and transfer into FIAT before the bubble bursts and you have to wait years again..

yea day trading is not a job for the masses, like i said before.. if people are not in the workplace making STUFF, then there is no stuff. if people are not out there delivering services, there is no services..
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 77562423

Its not hard if you follow a simple strategy with the right coins (stable coins and whatever else you invest in). It doesn't require special knowledge aside from actually learning the technique itself. It provides constant returns whether the market goes up or down, although if the market doesn't move you can't make money. You're ignorant, anyone can do this basically for free if you've read the book about it.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 79345862

Thats not what i said.. what i was getting at was that the emotional aspect is the hard thing to keep under control. Day trading consumed me, i could not even sleep let alone think rationally because of the lack of sleep and the emotional and addictive aspects of it. its exactly the same with gambling..

Not many people can have the right mindset... The theory on how to trade is a piece of cake in comparison.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 77562423

I know what you said. I'm telling you you're a beginner who didn't have the proper information so you burnt out. I'm telling you there is proper information out there that allows you to trade, make profit and not become an idiot. I only trade 3-6 times PER MONTH. But EVERY TRADE is profitable, and thanks to the strategy I read, I never lose money. Profit + never losing money = wealth. You can take the information and learn something, or continue making excuses. Totes up to you..

The most curious aspect of this thread is the working-class American, whether it be physician, nurse, plumber, police officer, medical coder, or farmer, automatically defended one of their own.

This should be quite reassuring to all of us working bastards whether we are performing a CABG or running conduit that we have power in our unity and numbers.

We obviously make the entrenched 'learn to code' crowd very nervous as is evident by the trolling. One of these AC trolls is an obvious psych major, likely at the graduate level, or some associate-level research.

You can tell by the nature of the troll. The evidence they're trying to parse. Primitive as it may be. That said, I, and others, have learned a lot more about the liberal mind than they've learned about working-class people from this thread.

What started as a vent, turned into an exercise in drawing out a poison that's infesting GLP.

And still, no answer from our Canadian AC. Do you support Antifa and BLM?

This will drive faster bandwidth into more rural areas of the country, increase standards of living as living in rural areas are more cost efficient. It will decrease overhead costs for businesses and allow them to decrease damage risks from "protesters".

On a side note, the mass abandonment of urban centers is about to happen. There will be a crash in the commercial real estate market... and all those things the protesters want will evaporate because there will be zero opportunity in their cities as every business and person has gone somewhere else.

 Quoting: The Årtist

I doubt there will mass abandonment of the urban areas.
The 50+ crowd will want to be close to medical centers as their health fails. That is a huge part of the population.

There will need to be food services and everything else for them.

The under 30 crowd will also still be living in the urban areas, partying and looking for their mates.

The only ones moving to the rural areas will be couples and those financially able.

Is he wrong? You chose to get paid for your hands not your mind- for What you do, not what you know. Labor vs wisdom

And it appears by your desire to affect violence, that bad choices are your specialty.

Re: Work-At-Home Crowd: Tone Deaf To The Rest Of Us.

Well if things go on yes? Pray to the lord for strength to carry on when people's "squeamish puzzy" fuse blows after they kill 1 - because they are heading right for mob lin ching, the Chinese mushroom of justified righteous hatred.
Because I am afraid I will watch left coast garbage sh*t us down and then substantial and worthwhile "quit" as soon as they shoot one screamer.
Look at history. If one is too stupid and weak to get them all or only fight "till they run away" and sit back on their dumb lazy modern ape azz, they ARE unworthy and should be destroyed? Commies never stop? But whites never stop looking for a place to sit their fat azz and run or fill their mouth.

The french succeeded because once they started, they got em all and did not stop while one lived.

The crusades succeeded because they got them all, chased them down and plowed their nests. Simple-common-sense over sensate auto-pleasuring.

Anybody who is one hair less, for any "claimed" reason is unworthy and gets kicked? Ask anybody?

So try to condition these phony weak self serving cowards we claim now.....because at this point i could get clean sweep killing out of everybody BUT the supposed keystone species and cultures?
If American whites are real and worthy....why do their enemies yet live, on their land and money? Is a middle east lack skull paleo blood wizard and his abomination species of rape made orcs and insipid hippies really the serious and victorious?
When the day finally comes, don't forget that and ignore the rest.

Hopefully his toilet clogs and all the plumbers have made better life choices
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 78738164

They have. World always needs plumbers. World periodically loves mass slaughter....and often enough, of so-called "intellectuals" like these arrogant marxists i could knock dead with one hit. I have no "puzzy girl bone" and walking through them like a mower does nothing but invigorate - if men ever quit being modern women in their heads, the same is true for all males. Thats why feminized male is the biggest joke of all. Even the poindexters, goggles and spaz get to laugh at them and the boyscouts can only say "we didn't mean that"(lady!)

And preachers will not ever do it, but peaches will- or rather the lack of them.
When you think about it, a people that have to be starved to death, to get them to quit "adapting" and clean their yard kinda deserve it?

*adapting is not conceding, buying, serving or groveling. Adapting is succeeding and .....even-a-goblin-can-do-it?....beware?
Keep memory and history to warn, because the "normalizing" of paedo will stop dead as soon as the depression is on and people see WHY they could not live out with people last time. So will "de-seggagayshun" because wounded peoples look to their own and don't want others - the stupid who will not listen and just keep making up stuff will learn the harder way and plenty will be part of the sakkafice, for choosing pleasurable or gainful delusion over simple fundamentals of human truth.

But? Its 16 days until disco dies? Do not waste your breath or exasperate over what we are heading in the home stretch of anyway

You need to adapt to the new normal and develop skills that you can monetize while at home.

The old normal, going to the office kind of nirmal, isn't coming back and that's good.
