No problem! Yea I really needed it, all this voter fraud stuff is just so frustrating. Just a couple hours in a natural place and a bit of exercise can do worlds of wonder for how you feel.

It’s the height of springtime here. Yesterday evening on our daily walk along a nearby creek we suddenly noticed many many flying bugs. The termites were swarming! All the birds started going crazy catching them. The baby birds had full tummies before bedtime :)

Then today, no more termites but hundreds of black and white butterflies filled the air. They were chasing eachother trying to mate presumably. I have never in my life seen butterflies frolicking on the beach and even over the surf! It was so lovely.

I'm from the midwest and after thinking how nice the pix are I thoughy it looks like a haven for mosquitoes.

My daughter works in Del Mar and is always sending me views that look like paintings.

Normally an offshore breeze keeps them away. I’m next to Lake Michigan and we never have mosquitoes, unless the wind drops. Same when I lived in Puerto Rico , Florida and California

There is a barrier island next to me in NJ that I like to go to during the summer. People in the know only go when the breeze is coming off the ocean. If there is no breeze or it's moving east, the green head flies will have a feast.
