Just got a call from the school our Thanksgiving is screwed

Someone in my daughters class has the rono they said we need to quarantine for 14 days. She has no symptoms, but they said she needs to get tested and us also. I told them no that unless someone in my household is sick then nobody should be tested. The crazy thing is she does sit across from her in one class they both play basketball, but the basketball team doesn't have to quarantine. I told the nurse that the basketball team should quarantine they are in close contact during practice.

The sad part is that I have a 80 year old mother that I would love to spend the day with, but I don't want to take any chances. She has had cancer and her health isn't the best.
