And, like all science, it will be put to good uses like producing new organs for those who need transplants and also put to bad uses like creating mindless, docile slaves. It is not the science that is bad, it is the uses that some people might make of the science. If they can clone human livers and hearts and lungs and pancreas's and skin and kidneys, then there wouldn't be people who die because they are waiting for someone else to dye and a family willing to donate those organs. It would completely eliminate the black market in human organs and extremely poor people selling their body parts for a few bucks. |
