Without the pipeline, oil will still have to be delivered for refining. It will go by train and by Truck...

Watch as we get more oil accidents during transport...

Why it cost 1000s of jobs and now we have to transport the oil on trains/vehicles. Way more dangerous than a pipline.

You know that’s crap. One barge collision in Galveston bay a few years ago leaked 150,000 gallons of oil. ONE barge! That map has mostly spills of a few gallons. When pipelines are repaired or go through maintenance, a few very controllable gallons are leaked or spilled. It’s expected. Find a similar map with real, impactful, environmental damage. Then find out how each of those events were mitigated. I know people in the business. They take environmental impacts and safety very seriously.

Oil is a natural product that is vital to the survival of the poor...the rich don't care about the cost of heating their homes and fueling their cars...Diminishing the supply of energy only punishes poor people...
