How to deal with disappointment.
The reason you're disappointed is because things you wanted to happen didn't happen. So if you just stop wanting things to happen and just go with the flow... Then its like everything is a surprise and you just adjust accordingly instead of getting all bent outta shape about things not going your way. That's it... thats the secret to that thing... Ok. Bye.

It's easy to say shit like that.

Dumb OP stumbled on some stupid quotation or read about Buddhism on Wikipedia and now thinks he figured it out.

But he's still disappointed when good things don't happen, just like everybody else.

Idiot.

My favorite one is when the other serfs tell me that the rich and the successful dont use brothels and do not require hookers to settle office affairs, that its the lame and the poor that finance the sex industry, lol.

Given that I live what the OP is talking about every day, I dont find it unbelievable that the OP does too.

The key is to see that "good things" are temporary and desire simply makes you want more and more. And the more you want, the less you have, because you cannot want and have at the same time - those are diametrically opposed and just lead to feeling all kinds of "bad things."

It's just rational to not be attached to good things happening.
