Has anyone else noticed a significant uptick in 'cookie' requests on your computer?

Yep its tracking software basically. Law was passed where they have to ask permission.

These sites always used cookies, but there was a recent law that requires websites to announce their use of cookies on the site in many countries.

So they’re not actually tracking you more, they’re just telling you now.

You can use ad blockers to block these warnings. They have scripts for all the cookie messages. There are also add-ons that block tracking cookies themselves.
