Youtube has been a social justice dumpster fire since Google bought them. Some of the top channels have the most repulsive content I have ever seen.

I mostly watch videos about metal casting, camping, video game speed runs, and home improvement projects.

Too much censorship.

How do you not use an adblocker in this day and age? It takes 2 seconds to install, totally free, and it just skips any youtube ads and plays the video direct. Also look into noscript plugin

I use Spreaker or Audacity for podcast now.

I'm just downloading all the music which is worth downloading - and that's a lot of music - after that youtube for me at least is gone

I don't understand that in 2021 some peoples still don't use adblockers on Youtube. I have not seen an ad on Youtube in 10 years.

Brave had been great blocking all for years but just recently I am inundated.

jeezuz people, install 'ublock origin' and say buh-bye to wasted time and bandwidth (unless it's a site you want to support that runs fair and reasonable ads, in which case add that site to the whitelist)

I do find that I go on there a lot less now but I think it's because of all the censorship and channels that have been destroyed. Fuck you tube. And all the ads do suck.
