I have gotten some nice used pajama bottoms from Ebay that lasted a lot longer than brand new ones.

I've got 2 pair now that I can't see anymore. The knees are gone. I will have to see if I can wear them backwards.

I can't believe how thrifty I am.

I cut a pair of pj bottoms off and wore then for three more years before they were shredded.

I know riight? I dont wear pj bottoms and so I am quite thrifty as well, I think?

And the legs became rage?
I am thinking of opening the legs and sewing it all together to make a pillow.

I haven't ran amsoil in engines but as a gearbox lubricant their Severe gear 75w140 was the only oil I could find that would keep a Graziano transmission alive in a 2,000hp Lamborghini. Both red line and royal purple showed very bad gear scuffing.

I love finding homes for items I don't need anymore.
We have a small church in town that runs a thrift store that is awesome to use.

My husband is the horder in our family.
I normally toss things out on trash day when he's at work but the company shut down so he's home for weeks now.

Living with a horder is crazy, a few days ago our refrigerator died so we got a new one.
The store was going to pick up the dead one and hail it away.
OMG, husband constantly kept telling me shit like, "I can turn the dead fridge into a smoker" or how he could DiY fix it himself.
Kept going on to the point that I wanted to choke him into unconscious just to have a little peace.

I finally put my foot down on letting the store haul the dead fridge away and was so happy to see it go.

I hate clutter and hording.

Today I snagged the old leaking faucet I swapped out and parts for a water filtration system I paid waaay too much for. And a 4 wheeler gas tank I sawed in half. No sentimental value on these things.

I take all scrap to the scrap yard.

If it's worth the trip, yes. Otherwise it goes in the metal bin at work. I've scrapped a couple hundred dollars worth in the past few months. Still have 3 cars to dispose of.

Once a week, I go up to the attic and grab something to get rid off.

Hubs is a driving mad, collecting stuff.

Set of 8 jars of jam that expired in 2015!

Shredded and tossed two bags of old documents.

Nothing thrown away here. I live off grid and everything gets reused or cannibalised for some other use.

Old clothes become cleaning rags, scrap paper becomes kindling and there's a scrap metal pile that provides materials for new projects or repairs.

Don't have a rubbish bin.

One of my neighbors started a freecycle table......neighbors are encouraged to leave stuff and take stuff....


Now the neighbors still have the same amount of junk......just someone else's....lol....
