Timing is just as important as being right. Burry’s fund was hemorrhaging money and his investors where livid with the loses prior to him eventually being right. He almost didn’t stay liquid long enough to realize the gains. He was also correct about GameStop but sold his position just before the Reddit craze missing out on over $1 billion in gains. He said to short Tesla in December and so far that’s been a horrible call. It peaked at about 37% above where his call was at. Most would have already taken their loses.

They will crash the system this year. This is the year of THE GREAT RESET.

He's gone into small caps, which recently got hammered by short sellers. They've rebounded a little bit with more potential upside, but if he's predicting another major selloff, he'll get hammered all over again. INTC got sold off after better than expected earnings, but a loss of market share. With AAPL, QCOM, and AMD reporting soon we'll see which way the market is heading in the short term as those issues are 10-20% off their highs at present prices.
