Family was couped up for too long so we did a road trip.
Playa del Carmen
Campache
Ciudad del Carmen
Villahermosa (not hermosa at all) ugly city
San cristobal/Chiapas
Tuxla
Salina Cruz
Oaxaca
Mexico City
San Miguel
Guadalajara
Mazatlán
On road with wife and kids and dogs.

Headed to Ciudad Juárez next. You must be driving on the auto pista where the super tall bridge is and all the tunnels, which is a neat area. Are you going to visit the city of Durango or just pass through it on the way to Juarez. This morning I was talking to a guy who lives in Juarez and he said there is a lot of violence there again and robberies. be on high alert the further north you go. When you get to Torreon along the highway is the Galleria Mall and that area is really nice with a lot of American restaurants, hotels, and services. That would be a nice place to stay for the night. We always use the Real Inn and eat at Dennys and Tony Romans there. The trip along the auto pista from Durango to Torreon is rather safe. Yup , that was the one. We are staying two nights in Durango. I have stayed in Torreón before. But I don’t know if we want stop there for the night because it’s so close to Durango. I’d like to get a little further then that.
