Body anxiety help
Every 6 to 10 months I will wake up in the middle of the night and get anxiety. Most of it is in my body and not head. The anxiety will then persist daily, usually for 7 to 60 days.

When it happens:

I don't have much appetite

I get a crawling skin feeling mainly in shoulders, arms and neck.

I'm sensitive to temp changes (sweating or chills without much in between)

My normal energy level and desire to do my daily tasks is diminished.

I find myself clenching my jaw.

I feel low grade nausea

I believe it may be triggered by my bowels or my gut biome.

Does anyone else experience anything similar and any tips on how to get back to normal faster?

I've been medicated for anxiety for the last twenty years. Mine stems from a Tachycardia that my Dr.'s can't find the cause for.

On occasion, I do wake up like you with physical symptoms and an overwhelming sense of dread. The best way for me to overcome it is to set myself to a task, meditate, or exercise. The meditation works the best because if done correctly it removes all worry and lets you focus on the present moment.

Good luck. Anxiety is no fun.

ive been a chronic smoker everyday for most my life, havnt skipped a beat

the last few years the paranoia and anxiety was so bad i had trouble even just leaving the house

ive quit recently and just like that viola, my anxiety has gone away

if you smoke id suggest taking a break, has done me wonders

if you dont smoke, id suggest hitting some good indica

yes thiamine its good but its not adderall (amphetamine) you know. I tried it for some time but after 1-2 weeks the body gets saturated with it and will demand more.

Hello,

I had similar symptoms and I really think it has to do with a big magnesium deficiency. It sometimes can occur when you have an infect, because when sick you need extra magnesium.

Maybe try some magnesium, drink water with it. Or google high magnesium righ foods.

When I have those similar symptoms, magnesium and sometimes potassium are the main causes.

But simply google for natural occurences in food and you will find out if they work!

I'm on a low dose benzo, but would love to get off of it. Hopefully my state legalizes medicinal mj next year and I might have a shot.
