I'll state it again for those who do not see it the first time. You can talk about your faith. But don't just come in here, drop random bible verses and dip out. If you do, I'll delete the post. You can quote scripture but you had better bring something else along with it.

and I've been with God ever since;

and I thank Him for saving me from a life in Hell;

and I have peace now;

I ain't perfect,
and have a way to go;

but I'm glad to be back in the Family of God;

choose wisely who you serve;

it's gonna be a long Eternity;

I don’t understand why Christians hate witches so much. And why witches hate chrsitians so much.

I mean I don’t follow your religion but there’s no reason we can’t all be friends and work towards a common goal of peace and mercy.

What kind of human being would I be to condemn you for your way of living

Eventually all of us one day will account for our actions and thoughts.

I don't hate Christians. That is a common misconception that Christians have because, 1, I'm not a Christian and 2, I disagree with certain points on Christianity. Just because I'm not a Christian doesn't mean I hate Christians. I do hate the way certain Christians act. But I don't judge the whole group by the individual. I think the actions of some reflect very poorly on Christ and what he taught.

I agree that we can all find common ground and work and live together. But in the minds of most Christians, this means me giving up my way of life, my traditions and to literally abandon who I am. For some Christians their faith won't let it be otherwise if we are to, "all get along"

You're right that we should all work together for common good. But tell that also to your fellow Christians. I'm not the one out trying to convert others to my way of living.

I am at peace with myself and with what I do and how I live. If one day I stand before your God and he asks me about how I lived, I'll tell him that I lived my life honestly. I did not pretend to be something I wasn't. I was true to myself. If that isn't good enough, then that God isn't worth worshipping anyway.

I follow a set of practices and traditions involving spellwork that I was born into. The spellwork is simply aligning energy to send out for a specific goal. Since I don't acknowledge your God, there is no point in asking if I should "leave it up to God"

I don't believe in your concept of God. I believe in an instinctual, omnipresent creating energetic force. The life spark if you will. Now you'll say but wait, that is God!

This creative force just creates over and over. it sees no 'good and evil' as you think of it. It does not judge or make decisions based on what YOU do. It is completely above and within you. It is the connecting energy that bind all things

I wasn´t raised in a religious family. I´m glad, and thankful. Really.

I can dig the history and stuff. But the folk tales and dogma...

Meh.

You have to get past that. It´s a personal journey and experience for everybody/thing.

And no, I´m not discounting the value of community and so forth.

Over the last 34 years

I have found many witches lol


All showed me love and kindness

Didn’t judge me

Even let me preach a little and still were friendly with me

We accepted we viewed God differently and just got along because we believed in kindness and joy .


I miss those meetings

I was not saying you hate Christians

Just from my experience lots of chrsitians don’t like witches and lots of witches don’t like Christians

....and yet....

The christians have largely shown only hatred and violence toward the Witches, including this one.

I want to put two questions out there to the Christians. Well the first is a question, the second is more of a reflection.

Question 1.

Say that you are correct and your Bible and theology are right and so on. Jesus comes back and we all have to face judgement. Who do you think is going to get it worse?

A. The Christian who just kinda half asses it. Hates everyone he disagrees with. Doesn't practice his faith through works. Doesn't know the Bible aside from what his preacher tells him. He's angry. Judgmental. He couldn't care less about his neighbors aside from winning them for Jesus. After they're saved, screw em. He commits all manner of sins through the week but come Sunday, he's on his knees begging for redemption. Rinse, lather and repeat.

B. The Non Christian. This person tries to live a decent life. He tries to do the best he can when he can. He knows he's going to make mistakes and he tries to correct them when they happen. Maybe he drinks a little. Maybe he smokes a little dope on Saturday. He may lust after the cute girl at the office but he won't act on it. He tries to treat people fairly and honestly. He simply tries to live like the best human he can be knowing that he is going to stumble from time to time. He tries not to judge others because he knows he has no place to judge anyone. He's humble. He acknowledges God and Jesus but he says, "look. This is who I am. I'm not a Christian. Take me as you created me"

Now, on the day of Judgement, who do you think is going to get it worse?

The second question.

I hear nonstop talk of Jesus coming back. my question is, if you live your life the way he wanted and live by his guidance, does it matter if he comes back or not?

Just stuff to ponder.

The ones who get it worse are the ones who know love and given love and then use it for hatred

At least to me

I can go out into the world and do so much good and feed the poor and homeless and visit the imprisoned and know all kinds of spiritual warfare

But the battle belongs to Jesus

But we need him

Now one can say he is in everything so we are already with him always but that’s more gnostic than Christian

In my experience, the hate has come mostly from the Christian side. Try being a witch in a small conservative town and you'll very quickly see what I mean

You say witches don't like Christians. Well when someone tries to convert you and treats you like garbage when you don't agree with them, you aren't going to get people responding kindly.

Just read a history book on how Christians have historically behaved towards those they disagree with. It doesn't engender warm fuzzy feelings.

I still see zovalex has a problem with me even though he’s the one who leaves rude karma and always trolls me on every thread I make and thinks he knows everything

It doesn’t say chrsitian or Muslim or gooish or Hindu or Buddhist

It says

“The meek shall inherit the earth”


The Bible also says God will not reject a broken and contrite heart

This can be any culture or belief system
