All modern vehicles can be hacked. Remotely controlled, made to crash or be shut down. All with a smartphone ap. It's all control. No thanks.
Quoting: Icey no they can't. it's nonsense. some vehicles have remote access, only some and you can circumvent that. you can't circumvent it. it's built into the engine management system you would need to be a computer programmer and completely bypass the computer perhaps if you were a genius computer programmer yes, other than that, no it can easily be circumvented. i was software and hardware patching immobilizers out of ecu's decades ago. i could build you an ecu off the top of my head. this is usual scare tactics.
