How come women obsess over you and treat you like a king after you’ve dumped and ghosted them after sex?

I don’t get it. I used to do traditional, chivalrous shit for them, but always ended up being took for granted, used, cheated on, dumped, then fearing it would happen again, I decided to just coldly ghost them after sex. When I did that, I found women’s respect for me went through the roof — they’d pine for me endlessly, and when I eventually decided to hook up with them again (maybe after several months), they waited on me hand and foot — almost like a Stepford Wife.

How come women value guys that do this? It’s like they enjoy being made to feel worthless
