I still think a lot of standard Western food is gross. Like, no vegetables, everything is fried, tons of carbs, processed meat... and then people wonder why they get sick.

I knew this really unhappy guy. Couldn't get a girfriend. Hated the world. And he just ate muck all day. Gross, filthy muck. And yeah, "mind your business..." "it's no one's business what I eat." Alright... but don't whine when you can't get a gf, or no one wants to hire you, cos you're a lethargic, slobby know-it-all.

Non-western cultures tend to eat healthier, and be healthier.
African Americans might eat bad sometimes, I don't know. But many of them do a ton of exercise... so they can get away with it.

I ate junk food for most of my twenties and paid the price.

Ireland has major laws against almost everything food corporations do in the US. You go there and order a plain steak and sides, you will be blown away by how good it is. Without salt or garlic or pepper or even sauces. It’s not right. Entire generations think food is supposed to taste as bad as it does at Chili’s and Applebee’s.

I don’t know why they make fun of that food pairing. It’s the best on earth. Southerners love it. All colors. We fry everything lol
