Yes they deserved to be rescued particularly beccause muslimes consider them " najess" or unclean and would be slaughtered forthwith. Cats are not considered unclean but would still be killed because they are objects of affection and considered useless eaters I always found that interesting, coming from a culture that can't be any more disgusting and filthy. And you are upset at the opposition then rescuing animals?
