Yes they deserved to be rescued particularly beccause muslimes consider them " najess" or unclean and would be slaughtered forthwith. Cats are not considered unclean but would still be killed because they are objects of affection and considered useless eaters

I totally agree, only a depraved humanity could consider this as right.

The guy who ran the project arranged a private charter for his entire Afghan staff and the animals. All we had to do was let it land and leave. The staff insisted he go without them and save the animals.
