I don't understand this NFT craze.

Even if it was actually good art, and not some blocky, computer-generated, shitty GIFs that make Amiga graphics look stunning.

It's GOT to be a money-laundering scam of some sort.

I have been using crypto for nearly 8 years and I still have yet to wrap my head around this NFT bullshit. I do not understand it and I do not know why anyone would really use it.

Do you understand that when the population has been sufficiently reduced, that these NFTs will them be used as money, ie., you will be able to buy anything that money can buy you now with these currently worthless NFTs except exchanging them for USD equivalents.

The heart of the rise of NFTs is that it is a new form of ownership. It rides parallel to all of the other new form of ownership we are seeing rise to the surface right now.

It is just starting out now, so what we see doesn't really make sense, but it is a lot bigger than what we see happening in the traditional "unregulated" art market.

I personally don't believe that these art pieces will hold high value over time, except maybe as nostalgic markers of the new paradigm in it's infancy.
