where is all the cat food

Well I saw a guy at wally world a bit ago who literally had his entire cart filled with wet cat food cans. So maybe the cat hoarders, men and women alike, are half to blame.

Chewy....

You can buy plastic lids for pet food cans instead of wasting foil, but they are overpriced.

I have found I can recycle the lids from Fritos brand chip dip (usually sold right at the chip display).

They are reusable and fit cat food/tuna cans perfectly.

Cats need taurine or they will die. Tjey need it for optimal health.. Literally, ask a vet. Add some chicken liver in there if you're feeding them meat.

I quit giving my cats cans of it. Too hard to score and who knows whats in it anyway. At 60 ,cents a can, lol. Now i give them tuna, mackeral and chicken livers.

Yep, but now my furbies loooovvve that gourmet prepper food they sell on Ebay called Market Street Chunk chicken and Beef stew that comes in a pouch. It's sooo good of course and i give my precious spoiled darlings my gourmet prepper food now. The deal is, you can only buy it in bulk on Ebay. 55 bucks for 36 pouches.

Try the feed stores - they have a pretty good selection of pet foods and are still well stocked

Thanks to GLP I was aware of the dwindling supply of cat food in the the market places ... so I bought a six month supply - a couple of months ago

Unless you prefer eating cat food yourself, I suggest you do them a favor by buying a whole cows heart, cut it into slightly larger than rolling dice pieces and freeze portions. You can also cook it before cutting. Another one would be frozen cod filets or cheaper kind. Cook a small piece and mix it with a brown slice of bread. Good quality raw beef is also a favorite for most of them.

Forget cat food, or at least give it as little as possible. They’ll love you for it and live longer because of it.
