I bet the editors at CBS/NBS/ABS/MSNBS/CNNBS can't wait to tell prospective illegal aliens in Mexico to blow smoke into kids' eyes "for the cameras".

The unsuspecting and gullible public is being tricked and conned at every turn... even where you wouldn't expect.

There was a program on Dutch TV some time ago called "Max maakt mogelijk" (Max makes it possible) where you see this older guy from the TV visiting diverse elderly people in need in countries such as Bulgaria. You see the elderly person in need in their little house somewhere in the countryside (who are often sick or half blind or otherwise impaired), not having enough to feed themselves or to heat their house, and Max in a show of generosity tells them they will help them with this or that, e.g. repair the poor old person's stove or make sure they receive daily food, or something like that.

In one of those shows, the 2 grandchildren of the poor old lady were there with her - they seemed well cared for and well fed, so I wonder if her grandchildren were there in her home, surely their parents must be around somewhere as well... and yet we are supposed to believe that old person is being let to starve... all while her grandchildren are with her in her home!

When you watch stuff like that, you start wondering WHAT you can still trust as being real.

One comment (@whiskeypappa11) says he's wrong, as they are using the tobacco smoke to neutralize the tear gas that the children are crying from...

What's the truth now?

You could say anywhere there is a TV camera, there is manipulation.

The same goes for the printed media. I once saw a picture on some magazine showing an apparently starving African man, very thin, lying on the ground... while just behind him you could see the legs of other people sitting on a fence (you saw just their legs). There was a whole bunch of them, not just 1 or 2.

All those legs were from well-fed people.

The picture was staged.
