Let this also be a day that we might help those in need in our midst.

I for one cashed in my free voucher for a turkey at the supermarket.

I started cooking it at midnight, a family tradition.

Then went downtown and a homeless man was out begging for alms in the street.

I turned around from where I was going, got the turkey in a bag, still piping hot, and gave it to the homeless man, along with a jug of blush.

We sat beside his cardboard home and talked about life and faith: he was married once, has two grown children, but his wife had an affair which led him into a spiral of extreme mental illness.

Had I not supped with him, he said, his only choice that day would have been to try to eat his own dung, with grass blades, as a meal.

We truly have no idea of the suffering in out midst.

Help im in thanksgiving hell!!!!

Born in 1938 before TV and when I bought my first TV in 1959 the people on the screen were all white. I miss those days. Our town was white, clean, and the best place to raise a family. My kids have families of their own now and I've been a widower for 3 years. I rented a huge dining room at the local restaurant and flew all my family in for this day. We are all like minded, white with white grand kids, and we are all not vaccinated! God bless all and have a happy Thanksgiving!

Hope everyone has something to be thankful for.

This year I am happy that I am now married again. Ginger Granny is now Ginger Congo.

I have nearly 30 people over to the farm, all relatives. Some will see Ginger Congo for the first time. Great grandkids running everywhere, and two ovens cooking away. Two turkeys and a ham. All the side dishes are from scratch. It sure smells good here.
