Anonymous Coward User ID: 80173048 United States 01/22/2022 08:41 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I have a feeling we are going to see a takedown of all communications within days: Phones, Cellular (Including Texting and messaging), Fax, Internet, and I'm wondering what frequencies on HAM Radio, the HF band (0-30MHz) are for voice communications in the USA? Quoting: Anonymous Coward 80475622 I already know about two meter, 220 and 460, I need to know about HF. Extra class here. War powers act. Hams can not transmit during time of war. |

Well, that's completely false, but even if it WERE true, who cares about the law? If it's WW3, there is no law. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 72497887 United States 01/22/2022 08:53 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | 27.385LSB. 10 Meter Ham guys use it even though it is CB channel 38 lower sideband. Half the guys on that freq are on HF radios. Can communicate with any sideband CB radio on that freq. Also 27.555LSB. 10 meter guys are there even though it is between CB and 10 meter band. Modified CB radios can get there too. Skip cycle is going. You should here operators from around the Nation for the next couple years during daylight hours. 100watts can get you from Coast to Coast. Much more quiet after the Sun goes down as the skip usually dies off. |

Transmit sparingly if they try to say you can't Quoting: Anonymous Coward 76589594 Also moving locations help. Use digital modes to evade detection I don't recommend this.. but yeah, someone could do that.. Like in a car.. Just saying.. My mobile sideband CB radio gets coast to coast with only 125 watts on Sideband from my Honda. In 2012 I uploaded a YouTube video speaking with guys in Florida and Alabama. I spoke with guys in Oregen, Washington, Caralinas, ect that skip cycle of Solar Cycle 24. Last February(beginning of Solar Cycle 25) I made it onto a South Caralina operators YouTube recording. Interesting hearing myself from 860 miles away from my mobile radio. Also spoke with Panama City Fla that day. |

This depends if the EMP froid your radios. There will be a lot of jamming going on. The gubberment has jamming stations for this very reason to be activated at any time. They just flood the spectrum with a lot of noise. Who knows what else if nukes are going off. |
