It's more likely you're getting to much potassium from a combination of foods and the dairy is just putting it over the top. Too much potassium like too much of anything, will cause you problems.

Can you drink lactaid milk (lactose free)? Not sure if it's related.

I can't eat ice cream because of what it does to my stomach, but I'm fine with aged cheeses or anything lactose free.

Tomatoes make me super achy- like to the point I can barely walk. Not sure why. I love them but have to avoid as much as possible. That means no sauce/pizza for me.

If you react after days is usually the casein. It can lower your immunity and so the MS flares up.

Turned out it is sugar and carbohydrates in general. Lactose is a type of sugar.

After reducing my carb and sugar (and alcohol) intake, I can tolerate some dairy products like cheese. Cheese has less lactose.

My daughter and I both have MS. I was diagnosed at 39yo (12yrs ago), she was diagnosed at 18yo (10yrs ago).
