Bird feathers. I have some rare ones, but always gathered from on the ground.

Also, different translations of the Tao de Ching. I have about 9.

Thanks. Those are in one of my stock books (trade for sale ect) the better ones are in my personal album.

I had so many stamps that I started downsizing several years ago and gave everything after 1945 to local stamp clubs.

I remember everyone in the neighborhood would get together when I was a little girl and play baseball. Those were the good ole days. My mom was a loyal Braves fan

Yeah it gets complicated. For instance the 2 cent red washington stamp has 270+ variations and was printed for many years.

Each year had small engraving changes, some are only visible with a microscope.

I have three one gallon zip lock bags full of them. Yet to be sorted, probably never will be.

Re: Any collector’s here?
I have a penchant for collecting vintage or vintage modeled items practical for every day use with a mindset of them being for self reliability and self sufficiency.

Certain kitchen items, knives, utensils, as well as practical age tested items used by outdoor enthusiasts and survivalists.

If it has brass, leather and/or canvas is made of wool or is glass, ceramic or steel and doesn't take batteries or use electricity, I give it a looksee....

IE. I would rather purchase a 10x12 $100.00 waterproof canvas tarp than three plastic ones for $30.00 each. (IE. I prefer quality over quantity.)

I gift things to those in my life of the same.

Remember Koosh Balls from the late 80's?

They make a great vintage gift for kids or adults of all ages. They are relatively indestructible, feel cool, are lightweight, are safe indoors and out and come in a variety of colors. They don't take batteries, can fit in your pocket and are relatively inexpensive.

Re: Any collector’s here?
not so much "collect" but accumulate
like my dad's wooden duck collection and my mom's quilts and all their oil paintings

but I do have my own "souvenir rock collection" from places around the world and of course chaukras

I collect pennies too - have jugs of them and other coins
still have the stamp collection I started in the mid 50s

for some odd reason I kept all my "credit cards" and they cover a wall in my closet (old DLs,bank and library cards, work ids and name tags, ect ect ect

I have a large box of old electronic/computer parts, and cords and cables- old cell phones

I have a hefty amount of old (1st edition books) all the classics even an original Wizard of OZ and Mine Kamph in german

but my favorite collection is an old (long) denim prison jacket cover in lapel, hat and special event pins and buttons, tie tacks, stick pins, that I picked out of baskets in thrift stores (when they were still available) or got from relatives There are nursing school pins, CIA, FBI, even IRS and political pins and 6 Hard Rock cafe pins, flags and state pins -and some Masonic pins --- the jacket must weigh 20lbs now LOL - some of them are gold with tiny jewels, most of them are metal but some are plastic too... lots of little angels/cherubs and animals and insects. My most recent find was a "bling" Trump pin LOL
