How to embed links in GLP - don't be lazy

I dont use facebook or twitter.

When I post a youtube I pause the video after the ads are finished, and then copy the address. Is this sufficient to keep all GLPers from having to view the opening ads?

If I wanted to post a video starting at a particular point can I just post the address when the video is at the right time?

I usually just post my link, highlight the link, and click on the appropriate button: youtube, twitter, etc.

Works 100% of the time every time.

I have uBlock Origin in firefox, I don't see ads.

Good idea to help with the reply posts.

Also...(especially for the "classic GLP long-posts"
if you click the first paragraph on page 1 with the
opening comments to add your post, sometimes it makes
the post really long. You can also just highlight the
first couple sentences, copy and paste those into just
a "reply" (need to go to the last page, of course)...then
paste your few sentences and just BOLD THEM WITH BLUE
(FROM "FONT COLOR" option.) That works good!

I've wondered about the Youtube posts too, Doc! (Those ads drive
me crazy!)
