Have been slowly looking around to replace my 20 year old suburban that I need occasionally for towing, don't want to put the couple of thousand in repairs into it that it NEEDS. (have a daily driver so will only suck gas when towing)

Maybe with these high fuel prices the price for a nice 8 to 10 yo Expedition will drop back down into the price range I want to pay. (used Expeditions per all reports hold up better than Suburbans now though they don't get as good of milage when NOT towing, about same when towing .. plus the Expeditions tow more, at least a thousand #, most 2 or even 3 thousand # more)

Missed out on a totally decked out low milage one early spring last year (oil field company's supervisor's vehicle) ... but last month the equivalent ones were asking 3x what I could have gotten that one for.
