Creepy paranormal experience. I saw a giant "hand" under my bed when I was a kid.

This happened in the late 80s. I was in 1st grade. One midnight I was wide awake for some reason. Just a few days prior, I was given a new toy (an action figure) that I was really excited about. I couldn't stop thinking about it ever since I got it. I decided to grab the toy and bring it back to my bed.

So I had placed that toy on a table on the other side of the room. I got out of bed, walked towards the table and took the toy. But when I turned around to return to my bed, I noticed some movements in the part of the bedsheet that was hanging below the bed.

It was moving as if something BEHIND the bedsheet (i.e., under the bed) was rubbing against or poking into it. My eyes were transfixed on what I was seeing. Then, the bed sheet began to bend and fold upwards. Whatever was behind it started to come out. From what I remember, the thing I saw looked like giant fingers, with each digit being around a foot long. It moved very slowly. I didn't know what it was, but I felt instinctively that it wasn't a "good" thing. The part where the "hand" began to crawl out lasted for around 2-3 seconds.

Being overcome with bewilderment and fear, I dropped the toy, screamed and bolted out of my room. I have forgotten what happened after, but that event is burned into my mind.

That was my first "Paranormal" experience.
