We've been prepping like mad, evacuations, etc., and now it seems like we're just going to get tropical storm weather here if that, just weird. Now you guys are going to get it and they kept saying was definitely not going to go south, like do these folks even know what they're doing? And what's really annoying is there just doesn't seem to be accurate local weather, I've seen everything from hitting tomorrow afternoon, night, to Thursday, up here. |

Quoting: Enoch.Root CERA models say this room I am in right now will be under ">10ft of water" by noon tomorrow. I'm in between houses, last buy fell through during septic inspection. Renting. No insurance. If I make it though with my glasses, wallet, and (as much as I hate them) my cell phone I will be happy. If I showed you the pile of preps carefully packed and prioritized in plastic zippered moving bags you would be amazed. Years of hard work and living cheap. A lot I could have dealt with, but not immersion. Lost everything 3x before, it's a mental game. You go through the morning process. You get angry, sad, depressed at the futility of your hard labor knowing you only have so many years to be productive. I believe in God. I am blessed, blessed with an extraordinarly interesting life. An honor to meet you all here. You bunch of weirdos. See you on the flip side of this current wave of destruction. Put your ziplock stuff in pontoon boat then tie the boat to the apt building long rope. You do have a pontoon boat in your preps right? . |
