A couple of years ago I had been near the 610 loop and I-45 in Houston and i got stuck in a massive traffic backup. So I decide to hop through parking lots to try to get up to a clear road.

Find myself cutting through the back of one of his furniture stores and I get about halfway through the back and a door fly’s open and this skinny old guy comes running… literally… out flinging his arms, screaming at me about something and pointing back to where I had just been.

I just kept on going and got on thru.

We were watching TV later that day and there he was…. Mattress Mack… on the news. And I thought he was the janitor.

Wish I would have stopped…. I could of had a good story about getting chewed out by mattress Mack himself.
