Report: Used Electric Vehicles ‘Too Expensive’ Compared to Diesel, Petrol Alternatives
The high unit cost of used electric vehicles (EVs) is holding back the electrification of the car market, new research suggests, with a lack of community charging facilities, short driving range, and disinterested customers cited by UK motor trade dealers as combining to stifle sales.

November’s Startline Used Car Tracker shows more than half (58 percent) of dealers are worried about the expense of EVs compared to petrol and diesel alternatives.

One-in-four dealers (25 percent) are also troubled by lack of community onsite charging facilities while almost one-in-five (19 percent) simply say customers aren’t ready to accept EVs.
When asked what would help them adapt to electrification, 61 percent of dealers wanted generally cheaper EVs while 38 percent said longer range vehicles would be an advantage and 28 percent that a greater choice of electric models was needed.

The rising cost of living is also impacting the speed at which used EVs are selling due to them being significantly more expensive than a used petrol or diesel, according to the report.

The U.S. is experiencing similar problems in the EV market place, as Breitbart News reported.

They don't really care whether the truth gets out, because the public no longer knows what's meant by "the truth."

Well, I mean, no one can tell the difference anymore between what's real and what's fake.

Anyway, the point is, I can tell you all of this, right out in the open, because it doesn't matter who knows about it. They won't know whether to believe it or not.-

You don't buy an auto of any kind, that cost about as much as building a house to live in. Cars are not a long term purchase. They also drain the electricity and electricity is a could be a big problem because there is too much usage of things on the electric lines, and it is. Look at the EU and other places, how about California and their stupid mess with solar panels that kill ever animal near it, and during winter is not a good thing to use. They could be using the ocean in some way to make electricity, but no, they destroy animals instead. You want to what is causing our environmental problems, we it them thinking that new is always better, it isn't it causes more damage and the product runs out from wear, and it is more toxic for disposal than what was being used. They all need to turn back the clock and quit upping everything to make it use more electricity, fix the electricity problem first. All we have now is a lot of junk to add to the old junk that was never needed in the first place.
We didn't have a climate problem caused by man, the problem was with greed from the UN and NGOs people who desire to rule the world, and the devil riding their shoulders.

Another thing not considered is their used value.

If it is going to cost 5 to 10 thousand to replace the batteries, no one will want to pay that, so to have to sell it one would have to take a loss or replace batteries before resale.
