I was at Costco Laguna Niguel and they had plenty of eggs. Probably just a local Kroger issue....

If the price is too high, the people won't buy.

I’ve got 6 young hens. The cold weather and short days have caused them to stop laying. I’ve not gotten a fresh egg from them since before Christmas. It’s seasonal here but for grocery stores that shouldn’t matter.

Thank you Brandon!

I'm in Oklahoma. Eggs available but expensive.

Braum's are $8.00 a dozen with the 10% tax applied. I found some at the Family Dollar store for $4.50. Aldi's are $5.00 a dozen here.

Stop buying at these high prices. It was high but over the holidays they really jacked them up. From $4.99 to $6.99 in my area. They know people wanted them for baking over the holidays and ramped up the price.

Let them free range and feed them more protein.

I've got some yearlings that were late bloomers but all of a sudden its 4 eggs a day. Plus, its been warm for January, so that helps.

Wholesale - 15 dozen large eggs used to be $38-44 per case.
Currently same case is $85-95.

Southern Utah. 5 dollars a dozen for the cheapest eggs. Very few in the store. Bread is 5 dollars.

What did you think would happen when you kill off all the chickens? When you pass trillions in spending bills? This is only the beginning. If you don't have seeds, chickens, and a food storage, you are screwed.

I raised 3 bantams last year in my room with an indoor coop. Use pressed sawdust pellets for bedding. Less dust than most other bedding and its great for compost. Get the right breed for the right situation. Full sized chickens are a no go inside. However I do have 6 full sized rocks outside.

 Quoting: John Dutton

From 2014 through 2015, United States poultry and egg producers experienced the largest outbreak of H5N2 in recorded history with approximately 51 million birds depopulated to control the spread of the disease. From May to June 2015, 25 million birds were culled, equating to 409,836 birds per day, or 284 birds per minute. In total, the 2014-2015 H5N2/H5N8 outbreak cost US$879 million in public expenditures[14] and the United States egg and poultry industry more than US$3 billion to eradicate the disease from poultry production. This was the most costly United States HPAI outbreak to date. - Egg prices in the United States peaked in 2015, when a dozen eggs cost 2.75 U.S. dollars on average.

Bird flu may be one factor, but not the only one. The price of eggs now is ludicrous....

Winter free range on my farm is a funny sight. Have you ever seen chickens get stuck and buried in three feet of soft snow? Once in while something with startle them and one will fly out of the shoveled zone and I have to go dig them out.

They do have fun picking through the fire wood for bugs as I split it.

If you like eggs and bacon, this won’t help you, but if you are using eggs for baking, use this formula for an egg substitute.

My daughter makes vegan cupcakes, icing from scratch, she uses flax seeds and no eggs. They taste awesome. She gets rave reviews. She’s only 14, so don’t be bashing her or I’ll bash you! She’s not a vegan, she just wanted to make a more wholesome and somewhat healthy dessert.

‘Come!’ I looked, and there before me was a black horse! Its rider was holding a pair of scales in his hand. Then I heard what sounded like a voice among the four living creatures, saying, ‘Two pounds of wheat for a day’s wages, and six pounds of barley for a day’s wages, and do not damage the oil and the wine!’” (Revelation 6:5–6).

Protein of any sort has to be expensive to push the agenda.

Eggs, Peanut Butter etc... It will literally never end until you are eating Bill Gates' GMO bugz living off and suckling the globalists tits.

If you have the means get some laying hens or dual purpose birds as I honestly believe this sh!t show will be getting worse.

Eggs are just the start. Its an easy way to remove protein from peoples diets.
